Computerized Control of Electrical Technologies

course overview

Professional master studies are the next level of studies after the bachelor degree in the fields of electrical engineering, power engineering and electronics. The aim of the study programme “Computerized Control of Electrical Technologies” is to provide higher professional education and prepare high level specialists with engineering qualification and master degree, who would be able to formulate and solve complex electrical equipment automation tasks in various economic sectors, at research institutions and companies, as well as perform pedagogical activities.

 

During the studies, essential study courses in the field of speciality are mastered, as well as internship at the industry. At the end of the studies, the main task is to elaborate Master Theses where on the base of theoretical knowledge principles of automation of certain electrical technologies, as well as a possible automation system pattern is developed.

Entry Requirements

1. Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate and Transcript with good results, particularly in mathematics and/or physics. Education documents must be accompanied by English translations of all certificates and transcripts along with approval of the documents authenticity;

 

2. If English is not your native language, all international students are required to provide a proof of English language knowledge. Preferably you should submit one of the following certificates with a minimum scores of:

If none of the above applies, but your studies at secondary school were in English Language, provide a confirmation letter from your school, unless it states on your secondary school certificate that medium of instructions were in English Language. In case of any doubts, RTU reserves the rights to ask for an official language certificate as listed above.

3. Students applying for master programmes will be asked to record a video interview.
